Splenda Apple Pie

Ingredients:
1 prepared Single-Crust Pie
1 large egg white beaten with 2 teaspoons water
2 large eggs
1 cup light sour cream
3/4 cup Splenda Granular
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups peeled, thinly sliced baking apples (I used granny smith apples)
Streusel Topping
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup Splenda Granular
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 425 F. Prepare pie crust and partially bake for 10 minutes. Brush bottom and side of crust with beaten egg white and water mixture. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, lightly beat together eggs, sour cream, Splenda, flour, vanilla, and salt. Stir in apples and pour into prebaked pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 F and bake for additional 20 minutes; cover edges of pie with foil as needed to prevent overbrowning.
3. While pie is baking, combine streusel topping ingredients. Remove pie from oven and sprinkle on topping. Return pie to oven and bake additionally 20 minutes.
4. Cool completely before serving.WW Points = 4 points per serving
My Review: This was such an easy recipe to follow and pie was in the oven quickly. Only thing I would add – make sure to slice apples thin. All enjoyed this pie at my house and I didn’t even tell anybody there was no sugar…
