Jen, I loved this post! My daughter’s father has never even met my daughter, and maybe gave me $300 in 17 years!

But I saw too many of my friends who dated when their kids were young, and the kids seemed messed up by it – they would get attached to their Mom’s boyfriend, they’d break up and the kids would take it personally.

Congrats on standing up for yourself, but more importantly your daughter!
